Letter from the Founder

Fark Holding A.Ş.

Founder and Honorary President

From Spare Parts Sales to Global Success

Much has happened since 1968: Fark Holding's legacy business Farplas started as a family business selling automotive spare parts, and six years later in 1974, expanded into manufacturing operations. Today, the company operates in 7 countries around the world. Yunus Büyükkuşoğlu, one of the two founders, looks back and acknowledges that the role of coincidence is next to nothing in the success story of Farplas.

“It has always been a constant battle between my dreams and realistic business goals. But, from the beginning, I was certain that I would be around for a long time. My business plan was solid, and we went above and beyond our wildest dreams! In 2018, we celebrated our 50th anniversary. I can't believe it has been 50 years. Yet, if you had asked me when I was a kid if I thought I would one day lead one of the largest and most respectable Tier 1 suppliers in Turkiye, I would have responded, "Yes!" I have always tried to live up to my dreams and ambitions, and still am working on.   Over time, I was able to gather together people who shared my ideas and goals with the same degree of enthusiasm. I was able to delegate responsibility and authority to those individuals, and they established a culture that has been passed onto the future generations. We shared power, happiness, and success, and we created a company based on the principles of collaboration and entrepreneurship. We accomplished remarkable success as a team, accomplishing a joint dream for many Turkish companies.   Fark Holding is one of the few businesses that has successfully merged corporate philosophy with a family company spirit. With its 50+ year experience, entrepreneurial spirit, global mindset, and customer-oriented "people come first" approach, it maintains its well-deserved leading position. Our goal is to stay highly motivated on our core businesses while incorporating new technology, creativity, and digitalization in order to sustain the vision we created together of "becoming an innovative and global firm holding a leadership position in Turkey's mobility ecosystem." The Farplas family has my complete confidence in this task.   My goal has always been to foster a culture that is grateful to its foundations and country, thereby actively providing added value for its employees and shareholders, with dignity and humanity as its core values. I am honored to see that this culture is still strong and thriving.  My primary objective has always been and will always be to fulfill my social responsibility to my country through projects in business, charity, education, and especially art. I am confident that my company and my children will always adhere to my value-creation philosophy.   I have shared all of my success with my co-workers, and I advise everyone to do the same. One day, you'll be as proud of the story we've created together as I am.”
